They need Madara's help to beat Kaguya there is no other way.
He was stabbed by Hashirama and lived, maybe he is using that tech again.

I was thinking too that Madara maybe comes back in his normal form with Hashi's SM, because IF he is not dead then Kaguya has the Juubi now under her possession
