look into the economic systems of Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell
How blind you are. Invest in health and the population grows. This means there is less to go around. But whatever ill take your word for it.
Invest in education you say-
Giving money to the school doesn't mean the students are automatically going to be harvard level when they get out.
You are the typical misguided liberal, believing its on the government to save the economy and not the wealthy you so attack.
So you would rather a sickly population, that is indeed going to cost the government more? Oh wait, you're Republican... let's just privatize everything so that there is more monopoly, and more control over the population. Where hardly anyone can afford education, or health etc...
Harvard level education? I didn't say anything about College (which I agree, shouldn't be funded by the government). But, you fail to realize that alot of people lack even secondary (high school) education...
You have no critical thinking at all...
I'm very familiar with Thomas Sowell, and his out-dated right wing views.
And btw, I'm not a Liberal. I don't believe in petty political faction wars.
Its called population control. What you are suggesting is having the people pay for the well being of their working competition. That means less jobs to go around.
Its not on the government to keep the people healthy,
I don't want a monopoly. I want smaller government. If the Government and the industrialists both have power, the industrialists will just buy the government. The only way to grow a capatilist economy(what brazil is), is to weaken the power of the government, so the industrialists have no choice to make a better product for a lower price. Competition is the key to growth, yet you are proposing a strong central government in a capalist environment. That simply won't work.
A change in culture is the key to educational development. Simply spending money, isn't going to keep the students interested.
Misguided fool. Have you ever really worked in your life? Education gets you a job that requires no skill. Experience working gets you a skill. The actual act of working under someone skilled, allows you to learn a skill; not reading about it in some textbook. So you propose that the poor should get poorer and the rich get richer like most Republicans? Kind of like natural selection. Sure, that's fine and all. But what are you going to do when all the "skilled" workers in the work force retire? or die? There goes the whole country because you haven't invested in education, and made it affordable to the lower working (low-middle) class (that makes up most of the population). See the problem? Now. I'm not suggesting that this is currently a huge problem, but it will be if we continue on this path.
Like most republicans, you can't and refuse to see that bigger picture. Can you see how the sheep mentality works yet? You have these views, then you share them. These views become the norm, and you end up with a population that's ignorant to the problems, but they have no education to help solve these problems.
Also, stop going on about health, if everyone is sick. Who is going to everything? It's in the best interests to all governments of all nations to keep there population healthy and educated. Because if they do that, more people are likely to contribute to the economy.
This has been done so many times, every. single. 1st world country is a first world country simple because of their education and health systems.
Look at America. How well is America going at the moment? Not very well, and it's simply because their education and health and welfare systems suck.
Misguided fool. Have you ever really worked in your life? Education gets you a job that requires no skill. Experience working gets you a skill. The actual act of working under someone skilled, allows you to learn a skill; not reading about it in some textbook.
Im not saying the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. the rich(using their vast capital), create jobs for the poor. But only if the government is small. If the goverment has little power, the small business can thrive and actually compete with the large business. This competition is what lowers the price of goods and services. This lowered price, allows the people to spend more of their money and grow the businesses. This Growth of business is gonna create jobs for everyone.
You liberals are living in a fantasy world where everyone gets a high-paying offce job where no actual work is done.
I love how you create a world where everyone is sick. Like I said earlier it isn't on the government to provide healthcare.
You wanna know why America is struggling?
America is currently struggling, because we have minimum wage laws. You can easily pay a chinese worker ten percent of what you are forced to pay an American worker for the same job. What is the incentive to not outsource jobs?
Another reason for America's current failure is both strong government and industrial powers as I've said before.
The only thing keeping America the world power it is today is having the strongest miitary in the world
Practical jobs are not only jobs, in-fact most will be taking by robots in the future. This has already started. So, if there is no education system, how does society progress after the robots have taken all our low skill jobs?
The is where education comes in, because it allows us, to teach people in academics (that can't be learned through experience because you need the fundamental understanding on the subject) which then helps us in the future when we need it to progress social reforms, technology, health (medical research and illness prevention i.e vaccines).
Are you an unorganized person? Do you not plan for the future? Why shouldn't a government plan for the future? It's because your right-wing views are stopping it. You only care about the now, and have no regards for the future. This way of thinking, as I've said before, is one of the fundamental problems with society.
You are simply brainwashed. You are under the impression that you can't learn a technical job without education if baffling. If you actually ever worked, you would know that the ones who are "highly educated" think themselves superior and usually fail. Its the man that actually knows nothing and admits it that will be successful.
And what prompts you to beileve that all jobs will be replaced by robots? Why would someone purposefully takes the jobs of millions and kill the economy? it would even hurt the rich.
So, how do you suppose we further advance technological and medical studies without educated people? This can't be learnt through technical experience, only through education. As less and less technical jobs are available, more and more people will compete. Doesn't it make sense, that if you were to educate them before they were at the age where working in a technical (min-wage mostly) job is norm, and instead put them into a research facility where they can help further humanity.
Because they are, and have been slowly for the past 100 years. How would it hurt the economy? You do realize the economy is alive and forever changing? Sure, some manufacturing etc. companies might go bust, but in the technology race that is upon us, more specialized jobs are going to become available simply through completion and new emerging businesses. If no one is educated, who will take these jobs? You fail to understand the size of what is upon us. Big things like this need preparation, but it's people like you that are holding everyone back.
Why are you under the impression that building a stadium will help the economy in the long run?
Let me get this straight, you are suggesting that we need to spend money on schools(for no apparent reason other than they need money), so that people can be educated for jobs that aren't upon us yet? Who is education these teachers? Better yet, why do you think that everyone is capable intellectually of " Advancing technological and medical studies"? The people who are really gonna make a difference in the scientific and telechnological fields, are gonna make those contributions no matter how much you spend on the school they attend. So to suggest that spending money on these kids is gonna make them something other than a highly educated moron is pure fantasy.
Because that stadium promotes new money into the economy from outside, and provides the locals jobs. the locals are they ones who are going to stimulate the local economy.
You are trying to invest the money into things that are evolving. by the time they got the things they needed, they would be outdated and would need new things.

Milton Friedman tells you here how you can work your way up the ladder through work
Work a real job, it would teach you something. It's not about the best education, it's about how many people you can get educated...
It's called being prepared, something that you must not know about.
Who do you think makes the plans, for the people that have technical jobs to build? That's right the thinkers "educated people". Therefor, education is still the better option
Wishful thinking. This would be true, but people aren't retiring... they are working until 80 years of age, meaning that there isn't alot of space to move up in ranks. How do you not know this? Stop posting videos right-wingers, that have outdated ideologies.
Sure, this would be true... but, then you realize that the the very idea of governments is corrupt, and that, the money will not be used for the people.
If they are that corrupt then they were not gonna use the full 15 Billion $ for public welfare anyways. For example if at any given point of time they use only 10 % of the money for public welfare and eat away the 90 % then its better to have 10 % of 15 Billion $ + Profits instead of 10 % of 15 Billion $ only. If they are corrupt then they are gonna take their share out anyways, be the amount more or less. Only the people can do something about it. Nobody else.
Stats to suggest people aren't retiring? I work in a fortune 500 company, and three of the top executives aren't even 30 years old. You are pulling tings out of your ass. Are you really suggesting there is a stand still in promotions? you are a misguided fool
Look into itAnd that's exactly why people need to protest...
I'm over talking to you. I know now that you're just a troll, and I have no time for kids that want to play games.
FYI, I'm president Obama.
And that's exactly why people need to protest...
