Sometime last week, Sir Derp posted a preview of the coming chapter. On it, I kinda nonchalantly posted something, that now has me thinking. I was semi-correct in it, so now I'm wondering if the remaining parts are correct as well. Again, this is mere speculation at this point, but I believe Kishi may have been hinting toward this for a while now.
Now, the very first part of my post back on Sir Derp's thread, stated that Kaguya's power was most likely embodied in her two sons. Each containing a fraction of that unimaginable power. Now we know that both brothers had to work together to defeat the Juubi the first time [
Meaning, that alone the Sage was not strong enough to take down the Juubi. This goes greatly into the whole concept of duality, and the team work narrative that Kishi has been playing with since the very beginning.
In fact the Sage and his brother are so important, that Kaguya immediately speculates that Sasuke and Naruto are the reincarnations of both of them.[
This means, that not only are both capable of being reincarnated, they most likely in my opinion HAVE been reincarnated into the current world. Both are now needed, because Sasuke and Naruto are in complete shock to see the existence of such power.[
Now of all the remaining characters we have Sasuke and Naruto being reincarnations of Ashura and Indra, so they can immediately be ruled out.[
Now that leaves Minato and Hiruzen. One being the Sage, and one being Hamura. And though I'm now leaning towards Minato being the Sage, and Hiruzen being Hamura, since both are capable of using the Reaper Death Seal, which I believe has something to do with Kaguya, there are a few things which go against Minato. Firstly, Minato was given significant screen time in the previous chapters. With the most notable being his humiliation at the hands of Madara[
That leaves Hiruzen.
. We know that Shikamaru, the tactical genius of the alliance stated that only the 3rd can now do something. [
Now, this Ultimate Being would have to hold off his mother until the new Arc Kishi is about to introduce is complete. This sets us up for The Dream. I believe Team 7 will be sent into the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and I believe Kishi has hinted this to us twice! First here[
The further Team 7 ventures the more The Dream tempts them. I believe the Dream will have four levels to it. With a "door" between each level, and a member of the Team staying behind to open it for their comrades when they return. The deeper they venture, the more dangerous the dream becomes. First, Kakashi will be tempted with dreams of Rin and Obito, and will overcome them. He will be the first to stay behind. Next, it will be Sakura who may see life with Sasuke and so on. She will be the next to stay behind. Finally, though many people have told me Sasuke will venture to the final level and reawaken Madara Izuna style, I still think it'll be Naruto. In my opinion, Sasuke will stay behind in the 3rd level, after overcoming dreams of his clan being revived. He will have a Vegeta moment, and choose to believe in Naruto (Goku), because the entire story has been about believing in Naruto hasn't it? Naruto will then venture into the final level (Limbo as it was called in Inception), to reawaken a Madara who has lost his way.
Naruto will succeed and Madara will thank him and state some emotional things about believing in him and what not. Madara will choose not to leave and still being the 10 tails host, will begin collapsing the Infinite Tsukuyomi from the inside. This all may or may not be being watched by the remaining Edo Kages kinda like the Old Kai through his Crystal Ball. Hiruzen (or Minato & Hiruzen) will then see an opportunity as Kaguya holds her head and screams in pain. As Madara tells her to get out of his body, Kaguya will let her guard down for long enough for the Ultimate Being (s) to seal Kaguya away forever.[
The Next generation being a critical component of Kishi's writing will finally have surpassed the previous one. Naruto/Sasuke will have ended the curse of hatred and freed the Shinobi world, etc. etc. etc. Madara will also probably revive everyone killed during the War (Neji?), and move on to the next life. Naruto will probably also have an emotional moment with Minato even if he isn't the sage and so on.
***(Minato fans, if you have evidence stating he's the Sage please share it with me, because though I'm leaning towards a duality in Hiruzen, I'm more than willing to concede that Hiruzen & Minato are the brothers)***
Call it fan fiction, hate it, love it, worship it, thanks for reading.

] Now, I strongly believe that Kishi had been drawing a lot from Dragonball Z as his inspiration for many of the events in Naruto, and he couldn't leave one of the most significant characters out now could he? In my opinion, the Sage and Hamura both reincarnated into Hiruzen, making him the Vegito of the Naruto-verse. One of the reasons being, that if the Sage and Hamura were reincarnated into 2 different beings (Minato & Hiruzen), why would Hamura not have stepped in all this time? Surely, the Sage is holding back because he wants to let his children rid the world of the "curse", but why would Hamura just let everything happen? Unless, both are within the same being, and the Sage's half of the personality like Goku's, is reducing the influence of Hamura's (Vegeta's) half of the being. This would further make sense in the regards of Kishi's aspect of duality. Two opposite beings not only working together, but in one perfect union.[
