We saw Oro falling in IT close up, and then the whole team including Kabuto gazing around with Tobirama asking what is wrong, but nobody responded. So, the possibility of him being inside one of the cocoons is probably over 99,99999999%.

Remember what Bee said about perfect jinchuriki being immune to genjutsu? Kabuto's no Jin, but he does have that snake attached to him at all times seeing and smelling for him. If he can keep his snake hidden from the moonlight, he can beat the IT. This is important because we need him or Oro to give Minato back his arms so the five Hokages can rejoin the battle. Who knows? This could turn out to be an Edo Tensei party. Edo Madara, anyone? How about Edo Itachi? Dare I ask: Edo Shisui?
