Now I really don't see it. Maybe since Kishimoto is full of surprises...Now I can only maybe see Sakura rescuing either Sasuke or Naruto by sacrificing herself like Sasuke did in battle with Haku. But that could change..

I really do hope so because at this moment it really seems like she's become nothing more than a liability.

What would be sad is for nothing to happen and all that training that she did for three years with Lady Tsunade be a waste. She's pretty much been trained near to Tsunade's level when she was in her teens, but it has also been foreshadowed that she (along with Sasuke and Naruto) will surpass her teacher as a female ninja. I would honestly hate for Kishi to forget about that and make Sakura the same pathetic and naive girl she was back in Part I. It's like, why bother illustrating that she's developed new skills, strength and medical tactics, only to waste those years becoming a helpless wall-flower in this upcoming fight with Kaguya....? I mean, if she didn't have a role in the ending of this war, then she might have as well been taken over by the IT.
