Kaguya needs an army to fight off invaders that took over her moon planet. That's why she seeks power and needs an army. It's the only logical explanation and I like it honestly. Naruto isn't ending here. It's to big now. Why not put it on the scale of DBZ and raise power levels to the max. It's just the story, I can dig it. Not really sure how the themes and etc would fit into this new space arc but it would be epic. Just my opinion.
