sage mode naruto v itachi...who wuld win

I'm going to go with SM Naruto (but it definitely won't be as easy as a 'solo'). In regards to genjutsu, i'm assuming Naruto is going to just close his eyes and sense Itachi using frog kumite. He should also be fast enough using the kumite to evade totsuka blade (not too sure about that though...). If he does get caught by the blade Naruto is kinda a goner.
Oh yeah and you are talking just about toad sage mode right..? Because if it's the Senjutsu of the six paths, Naruto would destroy him.

This is a good question. SM Naruto is strong enough to take on Pain. So he has a pretty good chance of beating Itachi, especially if it's a sick Itachi in which Naruto can just outlast him.....
....Unless he gets cuaght in genjutsu again which is Itachi's masterpiece.
But yeah Naruto is capable of beating him especially if he is on his game like he was with Pain and watch, or rather, don't watch those fingers XD

NOt necessarily. In SM Naruto can sense Itachi. In other words, Naruto doesn't need to see Itachi so he can pull a Gai and just watch his feet or just close his eyes and fight blindfolded so to speak.

Yeah Naruto is more than capable of fighting blind.

When OP refers to SM Naruto, I'd think he's talking about the one that fought Pain. You have to realize it has been a long ass time with many powerups since then. His So6P senjutsu powerup is what lets him fight against the invisible Madaras. SM Naruto with his eyes closed would get wrecked by fast precise techniques.

True but naruto is still a Jinchuriki if he not on good terms with Kurama than Itachi is looking at a wrathful wild Kyuubi attack....That didn't go so well for Pain.
Yeah I put that in consideration. But it really hasn't been that long. Naruto has been using Sage mode all through out the war. He did to fight 3rd Raikage, he did it to fight edo Madara, he did it to fight Jubito. So no not that long. And that fight with the limbo madaras was just taijutsu and senjutsu sensing alone.

naruto didnt fight tendou(=EDIT: deva path)....it was kinda a bad timing for pain... as soon as tendo got his powers back naruto got solod....
thats what he though last time fighting him, yet he got caught. what tells you itachi can only cast a genjutsu with his finger? maybe he could with his feet too? im sure ordinary "anti uchiha" techniques dont work against itachi as history has shown us time and time again..... itachi is a master at getting his oponents wihtin his genjutsu....

Totsuka would seal Kurama's ass. I'm pretty sure if Kurama is fully released Naruto would die.

well we don't know that Itachi can cast genjutsu with his feet as that's never been shown, but your point is still valid. I think the more troublesome thing to worry about is Izanami, provided that actually works on Naruto. You don't even need to see for it to hit you, though Naruto seems pretty sure of his true self so not sure how that would affect him.
XD Itachi pointing his big toe at Naruto and putting him under genjutsu....that would be hilarious to see lol
fanboy much? If Chibaku Tensei could hold Kurama, what makes you think Totsuka blade is going to do the trick? You realize Kurama is pretty fast right? By the time Susanoo is formed and Tosuka blade is drawn Kurama is going to bounce Itachi around like a pinball. He isn't a path of pain either so those kinds of hits would kill him.
But in Itachi's defense he is an Uchiha, and we know the Sharingan is capable of subjugating Kurama, so I wouldn't put this ability past Itachi though.
