Research on Sakura fans <- NOT a hate thread

Im just curious if my theory is true. I wont say what it is, because I'm familiar with forums of any kind and I can kind of guess what would happen if I had said it.

I'm not a Sakura fan, mostly because she has no development, and has very little relevance to the story.

Well, Ill go ahead and answer that for you....like with any story or any type of characters females are more likely to like female characters or identify with them and males are more likely to identify with male characters. Of course, that is subjective to each individual...but overall if you had a big enough population i could guarantee you would have mostly females liking her and mostly males liking male characters.

Of course though, anyone is free to like whom they wish. Most people also just like characters that they themselves identify with the most

She has alot of fans and alot of haters....just like any character. People who don't like her though usually only provide the reasoning that "shes useless" and thats a stupid argument. Not liking her looks, or personality, or abilities is one thing... but I mean, to each their own, but shes far from useless unless your only looking into power (which is what alot of haters do, not all but alot) and obviously shes not as powerful as Naruto or Sasuke and certain other characters. That doesn't make her useless though

You dont have to identify with a character to be a fan of him/her in my opinion. I apprieciate your input tho.
