✦ Shanks always wears a long black cape over his shoulders and, until he met Luffy, he wore a straw hat obtained from his captain that he had worn for many years beforehand, and was synonymous with his image. He initially wore slightly loose brown trousers cut below the knee and collected halfway up the shin, with golden buttons down the outer leg. Recently he has been seen wearing a similar pair, but looser and with floral patterns on them. He wears a pair of sandals and is unshaven with a short scruffy beard.

✦ Shanks is one of the most laid back characters in the world of Narutobase, preferring to take his time as he and his crew travels around the world rather than rushing from one place to another. Shanks is not cruel like many other Shinobi pirates, nor does he rule over his crew with fear to gain respect. His friendly nature means he will not purposely seek to harm others, and he is able to make serious characters like Broly join in with his fun. Yet despite how simple minded he appears at first, Shanks is a complex person with some rather difficult to understand views. For example, he believes if two people share very different views, it is better they go their separate ways.
Shanks does not seem to mind what happens to himself; he will take others throwing food and drink or spitting on him without fighting back and laugh with his crew at his own misfortunes. Even almost losing an arm did not bother him much. However he would never forgive anyone for attacking his friend.
Shanks and his crew are almost always seen partying and drinking alcoholic beverages whenever they make an appearance, as the captain's favorite pastimes are attending and hosting parties and banquets.

✦ A powerful and barbaric clan that possessed one of the strongest KGs known from the naruto Manga. The clan is also now extinct due to their participations to the Great Ninja Wars; specifically they were killed off when attacking Kirigakure. Kimmimaro was the last survivor saved and taught by Orochimaru himself, but he was later shown to die due to a terminal disease caused by Orochimaru's experiment on his unique bloodline.
Shikotsumyaku, literally meaning "Dead Bone Pulse" is the Kekkei Genkai of the extinct Kaguya clan, which gave them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure. By infusing their calcium with chakra, they can manipulate the growth and properties of their bones by will. The ability seems to be rare amongst the clan members, as Kimimaro was the only one to exhibit it out of his entire clan.
Shikotsumyaku abilities:
-Manipulation of their bones' growth up to a point to even create weapons of bones from their own body.
-Firing pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles.
-Regeneration of the bones they remove themselves and skin regeneration caused by this same removal.
-Ability increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible.
-Kimimaro, has shown, most of the techniques are named after flowers. Most of them are also taijutsu-based sword dances, which are used for close combat and defense. However, as Kimimaro demonstrated, the bones can also be forced to grow from the ground, as a form of a ninjutsu, and that he can emerge from any of these bones.

✦ Shanks was born in Kirigakure to an unknown person of the Kaguya clan. Sent away by his family before the famed attack on Kirigakure, he would be watched over by an elderly hermit while his clan was slaughtered in the massacre of the Kaguya Clan. During his time with the hermit, Shanks became a water master and befriended a young boy native to the village of the Bloody Mist. As he grew older, so did the young boy. During the village's cruel entrance exams to become a shinobi, the young boy was sent into the water to fend off a horde of sharks summoned by Kisame himself. Shanks knew the young boy would not make it, so he dove in to rescue him. Almost losing his left arm to a shark, Shanks would destroy all the sharks utilizing his clan's Kekkei Genkai. Revealing himself as a clan member of the Kaguya, he was shunned from the village while the hermit was murdered. Post-expulsion, Shanks sailed the Ninja World, staying around the coasts mainly. During this, he came across Amegakure andn learned to manipulate rain. He knew this disgusting village wasn't his home so he left soon. He would then stumble upon Kumogakure. A powerful village which helped him become a lightning master, Shanks had discrepancies regarding war, which would result in him leaving his temporary home. Soon enough, he stumbled upon an oasis, Iwagakure, which he knew was his home upon arrival.
