Obito didn't hunt the kyuubi last because he was scared of itachi, he needed to hunt it last either way. That's why he made the pact with Itachi so he can further use him until he needs to attack the Leaf later on when the 8 tailed beasts are captured.

It's the same thing. When they need kurama sealed, They'l hunt him then. Kurama isn't needed until every other beast is already sealed.

lol another obito is or isnt scared of itachi. they had to get him last hunt seal whatever, plus he was protected by the villiage and jaraiya. tobito definitely used and respected itachi at the same time.

While Obito respected Itachi's abilities, he did not fear him. I agree with the thread. I do think though, that the presence of Jiraiya and Itachi definitely made him more wary, maybe even Kakashi's presence as well.

I personally believe that the pact he made with Itachi was in Obito's favor. Simply because he wasn't planning to actually attack Konoha either way.

If he wanted the Nine-Tails, he would've attempted to take Kurama with him instead of attacking Konoha when he took it from Kushina. It seems like it was set up...

I also don't see why he wouldn't have Akatsuki attack Itachi if he wanted him dead. Or killed him when Itachi approached him to ask for help in slaughtering the Uchiha clan.

Otherwise he would have stopped Kakashi and Naruto when they were out ther pubstoming his fellow Akatsuki. Why is it so hard for you to admit this?
