What do you think of Fairy Tail?

You are correct there. The mermaid girls are more diverse though, the one girl is heavier and one sports a web leotard. I don't know, I think the show is fine, mins all the crotch shots, and boob exploits. The overall story is decent and the animation is pretty good. I'll say it get a 6 out of 10 for me.

Perverted, unoriginal, crappy storyline no full-anmation battles, and I still read it..and watched it back when I still watched anime.

Because most of my fave anime were too commercialised, shitty animations, and they ruined the seriousness of the plot. I can't look at Naruto and see the akatsuki members dance like ballerina's in a shitty opening. Plus, the opening songs got worse and worse, the animation crappier, the storyline rushed.. It became easier to get into manga..I read masterpieces like Kingdom, Claymore, Vinland Saga, Vagabond, Toriko, AoT, etc...the manga can't disappoint me with crappy animations and voices. The manga drawing styles are also sweet.

I understand why you say that, and I agree. However, with the amount of money made from Pokemon, I think it's pretty evident that it's not bad (to a large majority). Everything has haters, and people who enjoy it. It's all a matter of opinion. You might not like something but if there are people who do, then it has merits.

Think about something you enjoy that's not very popular. Do others enjoy it? Does it have a large amount of sales? Does that mean it's bad? No, but if it became popular it would be easy to find people who hate it. If it's not popular, then it must not be that good (to a majority) we dictate who's president based off of majority voting... so what's so wrong with my logic? More sales means more people who enjoy it. If something has less sales, it doesn't mean it's bad... but it must not be that good either.

I think it's great. Been following it for a while now and it's getting better. It had some slumps but right now in the manga it's amazing. For people saying Lucy doesn't get any character development, you haven't been following the manga. Continue watching the anime/manga bro, IMO it's awesome

It might not have the craziest storyline (well apart from current tartarus arc which is good), but it's a casual enjoyable anime/manga to read or watch.

It has many flaws but I always enjoy watching/reading it. Just because some people don't like it, and bash it doesn't mean I'll stop watching it. Haters are always gonna hate.

I just recently realized they started back the anime, and I will say I'm impressed with it so far. I have always liked it but I feel like the animation quality has gotten better.

I enjoy watching fairy tail whilst some people may not like the goofy semantics,fanservice or immature humor i do,i think it makes the series stick to its name "fairytail" wouldn't you want half naked women running around in your fairytail? It doesn't try to be something its not and i respect that the story does need some work since the only great arcs in my opinion were S class, Grand magic games and the Oración Seis arc. It has a lot of potential if it expands upon the characters pasts, magical abilties, mythology and wizards. I see it like Naruto back when it first started we didnt really know anything about anything in part one so hopefully they expand like that making it really a top 3/5 shonen anime.
