My question and list isn't about the top 5 strongest ''Shinobi'' in this War Arc but rather about who has been the most useful.
My list:
1. Naruto: I honestly think that he has been the most useful out of everyone. He has fought for the longest period of time against Madara and Obito and has been holding his own pretty much the entire time. (Yes, He had help. But still). The war would have ended a long time ago if it wasn't for him protecting everyone and making them stronger with his Bijuu Cloaks. Crushing the meteors and holding his own against current Madara, Converting Obito from his evil ways. He definitely deserves #1.
2. Sasuke: It was kind of a toss up whether Naruto or Sasuke should have been on #1. However, I chose to rank Sasuke as #2. He has done a lot and has contributed a lot to this war. Without Sasuke there would be no Edo Kages like Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, & Hiruzen. It's also thanks to Sasuke that team 7 isn't getting caught in IT, He has also proven to be extreme useful in battle against his fight with Kabuto, He's the most intelligent member from Team 7 (In my opinion) Rivals Kakashi. I'm ranking him second because he became extremely useful after getting his new power from Hagoromo. Because Naruto powered up his Susano'o before that.
3. Itachi: Itachi is third because he's the one that stopped the Edo Tensei. (He basically got rid of all the Edo's except for Madara which gave the SA a huge numbers advantage) And he stopped Kabuto's evil ways after using Izanami. Without Itachi Naruto and Killer Bee would have probably died against Nagato in that particular fight. It's also thanks to him that Sasuke decided to talk to the Edo Hokages and ''Perhaps give the leaf a new chance''
4. Gai/Kakashi: Gai has been fighting for a very long time and, When Naruto and Sasuke were practically dying he saved a lot of time for them and the entire Shinobi Alliance by taking Madara head on. And he was a great help against the Bijuus/Jinchuuriki's.
Kakashi: Has been extremely useful. Has fought for an amazing period of time. Took on Zabuza, Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Jinchuuriki's, & Facing Obito 1VS1. His Kamui was pretty useful as well and his battle tactics and amazing intelligence helped out as well.
5. Sakura/Ino. Sakura: Summoned Katsuyu with Tsunade which was pretty much useful for healing injured ''Shinobi''. She has saved Naruto from dying with her own Medical Ninjutsu.
Ino: Ino stopped Obito for like one brief second (With help from Hinata) and was able to make contact to the entire alliance, Which has proven to be very useful. Without her there would be no contact at all after her dad died.
MENTION: This is a list of people who have also been very useful and could replace people in this top 5.
