Be honest. Do you guys read long posts?

Whenever I see a long theory/prediction/analysis made, I sometimes see people making a response shortly after the thread was made. How can they read a wall of text in such a short period of time? There's only two explanation: one they scimmed through the content and gave a quick reply or two, they didn't read at all (lol) and just said "thank you" for the amount of effort OP placed into his/her thread. That's funny, lol. But hey, at least you're getting a reply and someone is appreciating your work.

So what do you guys do when you see a long post made? Do you confess that you hate reading those type of threads?

Personally, I do. My first reaction when I come across one is:

Though, I always read the first few sentences of a long theory/prediction just to find out the general basis of the thread. If I'm interested, I'll read the rest.

Most people tend to just skim through them before commenting. Then of course, there are those select few that just go ahead and comment without reading a single paragraph. :|

Personally, I usually don't comment on threads without reading them. If a long thread appears appealing, and the topic is interesting, I'll take the time to read the thread most of the time.

I read them if they're structured well. If it's just a long ass paragraph with little punctuation or spacing I just press the back button. Chances are that person wasn't saying anything mind blowing anyway.
