I want to learn how to gfx and it doesn't matter what program I get taught with. I don't have a mac but I do have a good laptop. I don't know anybody in real life that gfx's and youtube can be confusing if I don't have any starting knowledge about gfx. I was wondering if somebody could teach me how to gfx or at least the basics and what programs to use

Go on youtube.

Watch tutorials. You can use photoshop. Either buy it or sign up for trial.

Then learn how to navigate the program. Once youve familiarized yourself with it, continue on with learning on how to do GFX designs.

YouTube, free schooling people since high speed internet

1. Download GIMP:
or Photoshop:

2. Watch tutorials about basics:

3. Find tutorials on how to make signature/avatars:

4. And try doing something on your own.

5. Then post the results here or on some other forum where you are active. Good GFX-ers will tell you what is wrong, what you should improve, etc.

It's hard to find some good GFX-er who would teach you since they are occupied with their works and stuff like that and IMO it's best to just work alone. In that way you won't be affected by anyone's style and way of working.

Good luck!
