Now G-Dragon, T.O.P and Tablo are mostly Korean Rap/Hip hop, but they do different things. I strongly suggest you check them out, but you will notice a lot are males and that's because man they make some sick songs lol. The females of kpop are mostly more like pop music. EXCEPT 2NE1..Cl the female leader is a damn good rapper..Like this song for example.

I do try. I think I was so attracted to Kpop was because they are very talented. It's not like in America where artist are just thrown out super fast. They are recruited at age 12 and train in singing/dancing/acting until they are old enough to debut. Some of these guys have 7-8 years of practice before they could even release a song ._.. Most of them are actors in movies and Kdramas as well LOL. It's funny

Jpop isn't bad either. I don't speak Japanese and I speak Korean so call me biased.
