All these villains have been puppets!

So far part 2 Naruto has had multiple villains and they've all been puppets or controlled by another.

All those part of akatsuki were followers.
Obito was Madara's puppet
Madara was fooled from day one, a puppet to his own "will"
Nagato is debatable, but I think Obitio manipulated him at times.

Part 1 had greater villains.

Zabuzu was his own man and called his own shots
Garra wasn't for taking orders and was a beast
Orochimaru well his character speaks for itself.

While they weren't as powerful, they were wayyy more ruthless and had worse attitudes. They defined someone you wouldn't want to approach, not because of power but because their drive to kill.

Well not including Orochimaru, Garra and Zabuza didn't have the right "mindset" from the start. Thus was the reason why Naruto could TNJ them.

Obito was truly Madara puppet.

We will see more info on Madara's "master" in the new chapters.

All major part two villains were knowingly or unknowingly working on realizing the Tsuki no me and thus are ultimately puppets of Kaguya.

Zabuza took orders from Gato. He was his lackey, not his own man. He only tried to kill him when he failed.

Gaara went to the chunin exam and participated in all the trials. He also followed Baki's instructions

Hidan was following his own goal which so happened to coincide with Akatsuki's goals at the time. He killed people and fulfilled his goals by following orders.

Kakuzu got fulfilled his goals by making money from following Akatsuki's orders. How is that different from Zabuza?


The difference between them and someone like Obito was that Obito was scammed and manipulated into a puppet.

Hidan didn't care as long as he got what he wanted.

Deidara was forced into the group, Kakuzu was not.

There's a difference.
