[Question] Profile background...

Lately... i was editing my profile and i have a question.....

"what size of image should i use, so that, it completely fills my profile's background? need dimensions.....

It's 1003 pixels wide, no telling what the vertical dimension is since it depends on how much vms you got. Best thing is a repeatable/seamless texture that you put on repeat both ways.

How about using the signature size 400x600 for non-seamless backgrounds ?

It actually depends on the Inactive Modules. Go to Inspect Elements on your profile and there you have Body Wrapper.
This is the Size of your profile as I see it.

I followed Skorm's suggestions on the profile dimensions and I haven't had any problems yet. Here is the post I took from the Profile of the Month Designing Guide/Discussion thread:

Sure.

Main Bg; 1003*2000(+). Kinda depends how long your profile is vertically, but 2000 should be enough..
Headers; 625*28(It is wider only on the "about me" & "Awards" section(s).) So then it should be something like 660 instead.
Content; 703*481
Inactive Modules; 800*2000(Could be smaller vertically, don't know. Didn't want to chance and find out it was to small..)

Buttons and Content are unknown to me, but i say they don't need customization and leave them as they are.
