Why is it that every time a fan loves a powerful character it is bandwagoning?

Why is it that every time a fan takes a liking to the epic action of a powerful character, it is dubbed as bandwagoning? Can't a person be a fan of action and power? In my life, I have met about 1 Kiba fan. Nobody called that person a bandwagoner. Nobody also calls Sakura fans or Hinata fans or Lee fans or Kakashi fans or Orochimaru fans or nearly any other fans bandwagoners. All of a sudden though, if it is a Madara fan or a Kaguya fan, then they are not true fans. They are just bandwagoners? Why is that?

Because they're mad you don't like their favorite U_U its an immature mindset, if you love sasuke then praise sasuke, if you like Itachi than show him off. My fav is Obito. Who's yours?

I've been a huge fan of Madara even before I joined Narutobase (since the beginning of shippuden after Sasuke killed Itachi) and I can assure that a shit ton of people bandwagoned Madara when he first appeared, especially on Narutobase. Now it's died down a bit and people are starting to like Kaguya. People are genuinely power whores.

I have been a huge fan of Madara as well since the times that we thought that Obito was Madara, and I still am a fan. That doesn't mean that I am a bandwagoner if I like Kaguya as well.
