This is not really relevant to anything, but I just wanted to show that the juubi can in fact be split into yin and yang. That's not all though, this could be a good way for Sasuke and Naruto get another power up and fit in with the yin and yang relationship between the two.
Yin and Yang explanation.
In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang, which are often shortened to "yin-yang" or "yin yang", are concepts used to describe how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Many tangible dualities (such as light and dark, high and low, hot and cold, fire and water, life and death, male and female, sun and moon, and so on) are thought of as physical manifestations of the duality of yin and yang. This duality lies at the origins of many branches of classical Chinese science and philosophy, as well as being a primary guideline of traditional Chinese medicine,[1] and a central principle of different forms of Chinese martial arts and exercise, such as baguazhang, taijiquan (t'ai chi), and qigong (Chi Kung), as well as in the pages of the I Ching.
Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts. Everything has both yin and yang aspects, (for instance shadow cannot exist without light). Either of the two major aspects may manifest more strongly in a particular object, depending on the criterion of the observation.
Kurama before being split into yin-yang.
Before Kurama was split into yin-yang he has a physical body. Much like what the juubi had when fighting the shinobi alliance. Yin-yang allows for physical real bodies rather than the chakra manifestations from the yang only and yin oly parts which you will see below.

As you see if you only have either yin or yang, then Kurama can only become a chakra cloak/manifestation of chakra. This is why all the other Tailed Beasts don't get chakra manifestations because they are yin-yang. The image below shows Kurama when he was both yin-yang.

As you see in this fight between Hashirama and Madara, Kurama was whole (yin-yang) and had a physical body rather than a manifestation of itself.
Juubi being yin-yang.
We see multiple forms of the Juubi and in each instance he has had a real phyisical body and is not a manifestation of chakra in the form of a chakra shroud. Now from the Kurama part, we can deduce that this indicates that it has both yin and yang. As we know yin and yang are specifically need to have a physical body and to exist as something really. Other evidence that helps this hypothesis is the fact the creation of all things was used to create the nine tailed beasts, which also need yin-yang release. Now you say but how can yin-yang be split into nine pieces? Simple yin was split into a ninth and so was the yang. Each one ninth of yin was paired with a one ninth of yang and there they still balanced to created weaker living things. Here are some images below that will help my explanation.

What would happen if the Juubi was split like Kurama?
It is pretty simple, like Kurama the yin would have a form created from a chakra shroud and so would the yang half. They would not be able to have phyical body as both yin and yang are needed together. Now for Naruto and Sasuke. They both have the sages power, half each if I'm correct. This may or may not allow them to hold/contain the power of half the juubi inside them. Sage could do itsince well he had his whole power. So it makes sense that half of the juubi can be contained by the two halves in Naruto and Sasuke. Now how can they split the Juubi, well Naruto can create eyes, there could be a way to uncreate/split a body. Maybe Naruto and Sasuke will work together and split the Juubi. Seal it in themselves and they can proceed to fight Kaguya, since she has power from the fruit she ate 1000 years ago.
