I miss the rich variety of theories back in either '09 or '10. Plus, members in general were mild in their judgement towards others. Plus, it was the time in which I still watched the anime with occassional goosebumps. I quit watching the shameful animation around early 2012.

Shameful animation is due to a low budget. It is used in episode with little action or fillers anyway. Watch Danzo vs. Sasuke, Jiraya vs. Pain, Konan vs. Obito, Madara vs. Shinobi Alliance, Obito vs. Kakashi, Bee, Naruto and Guy, Jinchurriki vs. Naruto and Bee, Juubi vs. Shinobi Alliance and google up the scene when Madara knocks out a mountain with PS and then tell it's not good animation. It's not like they don't want to make it look good. Animation is a tough process and having animation drops in a 200+ show is nothing to be ashamed of. The only real thing that bothers me is that they don't really make any effort to mask their drops so that it still looks acceptable. I am an animator btw and I can tell you what techniques they used at some parts. u.u
