Why do you think the manga has a LOT of plot twists?

These are my thoughts

So the recent manga shows Zetsu's sudden betrayal and is the biggest plot twist
ever in NV. The chain of betrayal keeps on increasing, is Kishi somehow doing this
to force the manga to live out through the whole year (2014) ? I mean, it is pretty
clear already that MAYBE the manga will end this year and Kishi is doing his best to
prolong it.

However, if Kishi did force that plot twist to prolong the manga, he should've done
Zetsu's betrayal at least 2 chapters from now.

Your thoughts/opinions?

He got lost in all the powerups and adding too many characters so asspulls and twist are the only way to get rid of characters or weaken them

Only real plot twists in Naruto for me were Itachi's story & Tobi being the leader of the Akatsuki .

Kishi just says **** it. Probably listens to the fanfics and does the exact opposite.

To make it more interesting, maybe?
This chapter was really memorable so his plot twist works.
It was definietly his biggest asspull so far of the year.

He has already decided to finish the series ASAP thus taking out all fillers.

If anything, he couldve made this chapter about everbodys dreams.

I mean hes got like millions of people dreaming and he only showed us a few.

Kishi knows how to drag on but I think hes in rush mode.

he said he already has a definite ending. He just doesn't know how to get there.

It seemed rushed to you, but it seemed dragged to me, XD
Well, we all have our own opinions

hahahahahahah, LMAO I guess that is plausible

But wasn't Itachi's story more like flashback and foreshadowing?
But indeed, Tobi being the leader was a PLOT TWIST

He did the same thing most prolonged shonen mangaka will do, he changed things up to keep it interesting. Kudo, Oda, all mangakas can't follow the exact same formula over and over again and expect people to stick around. This is something all authors do in a long series.

It's like a Final Fantasy game, long complex but really good story

Kishi did play dragonquest when he was a kid after all

We know 2 things from an interview with Kishi:
1. The Manga will DEFINITELY end in 2014.
2. He has a clearly defined ending but is still unsure as to how to reach that particular ending.

I also remember someone asking him "How are you going to deal with all these powerful villains like Madara?"
And he said something of the sort: "Madara is really strong and it's my fault for making him so strong. I don't know exactly how he is going to be defeated just yet."

That was long ago but we see the only way kishi sees an End-Game-Villain defeated is by betrayal. Which is plausible imo.

Yeah, I see. But I've seen that on a thread a long time ago and they said that that interview was fake.
