Kotoamatsukami Stronger than Infinite Tsukuyomi??? Plot Hole????

Interesting comment from Sawyer7mage's comment of the week. Well hell. This never even crossed my mind. This is so true. Plot hole?

The Kotoamatsukami is a genjutsu which worked on Itachi when he was brought back by Kabuto....the eye was in the crow an commanded Itachi to protect Konoha.....how come this genjutsu worked on Itachi but IT which is supposedly the most powerful of them all didn't work on the hokages?

A commentator in another forum brought up a great point saying, "...the genjustu was supposed to create a reality of the living ppl if ur dead i dnt think the tree will try to take back chakra from u, its essentially cloned chakra"

This seems to make sense. Curious about what you all think.

I'm thinking that it's Zetsu- e.g. Hashirama's clone- that is immune to the effects of IT. Remember that the 5 Kage's ET were summoned via the sacrifices of White Zetsus. Besides their own souls and the earthen husks, they are more or less Zetsus.

Kotoamatsukami is indeed stronger than Infinite Tsukoyomi. IT has better range, but Koto itself is stronger. KA can't be broken, nor it has any counter. KA can't be reversed as well
