I think you're complaining about nothing. Infinite Tsukyomi exists to make the desires of the victims "come true" Notice how in most of them (barring Ino), that the ones close to them that have died are in there? It fits perfectly, they achieve their desire for themselves while the ones close to them are still in there.

For instance, you're complaining about Hintata being focused only on Naruto. That's not what I see. I see someone who has everyone she cares for as 1 big happy family. Neji and Hanabi, for instance, look perfectly comfortable around each other. This tells me that A. she want Naruto(big shocker) and B. she wants their to be peace in her family above all else. It's not vain. She's not ignoring Neji at all, the fact that he's there shows she misses him. There's only so much one can put in a single panel, that single panel seemed to put in all of Hinata's core desires in one panel. I could make similar cases for the others as well. (Ino is a disgrace though, won't argue on that)

Understand this, the entire world of this illusion revolves around the desires. Not every desire we human beings have is right, which is why we don't indulge in them. However, I'm pretty sure if a world revolved around our desires, we'd come across as disgusting as well. If anything, this adds realism to the Naruto characters for having desires not exactly right.

Exactly why wish for granted in the perfect world?

That's one of the problems of IT. Someone needs something to strive for.

Please...
You wanted to see the depth, development and sentiment (even tho the latter one was on the spot) in the mere panels of 300x400 ?
Tite Kubo leaves entire white spaces of that size in his chapters, not mentioning the drawing part itself.
I'll say this again, with those incredibly little amount of space, Kishi showed us a glimpse at what their current state of mind looked like... nothing else. All we do is speculate as how Tsunade turned out to be the housewife... and etc.
We all have our opinions, and it's perfectly fine for them to differ from each other. ^^

Did you read the second part of my thread? That was the real part of the thread. What's been shown already CAN be fixed and I put my personal suggestion but it's whether Kishi DECIDES to leave it with this shallow comic relief or actually work on the first real interesting thing in this whole arc.

Yet she accepted it anyway and did a good job as Hokage, having her give it up makes no sense.Tsunade could've easily quit being Hokage but she did'nt.So the dream where she's not Hokage harkens back to the time where women in positions of power had to defer to a man and were costantly ridiculed.

Like I said before, the dream has bad implications.

Have you even read the Search for Tsunade arc, she never wanted the Hokage position, she only took it because she had too.

Dan wanted the dream years ago, but died without achieving it, she took the position in honor of him. Her dream was for him to be Hokage and her too support him.

She was never interested in being Hokage, Naruto and Jiraya had to ram it down her throat.

And women being in subservient roles, you are making something out of nothing. What a ridiculous argument, is it better for her to have a job she never wanted.

Tsunade isn't being forced to give up the Hokage position, her dream means she never wanted it.

And that is what will happen. That is why this was shown. For them to realise that Reality will always be above Fantasies. So, what happened was a good thing not bad. It is a perfect thrust for Character development.

Alright too lazy to rephrase, i am just copy pasting my op in my thread:

Hello there. After this chapter i saw several comments on the dreamas are rather being silly barring Gaara's and Tsunade and Hinata's to a certain extent. Now i will put my overview on it, not saying it is absluteley correct but the things can be seen differently.

Lets start off with this page, Hinata, Kiba and Shino:

You must be registered for see images

Nothing much to say here for Kiba and Shino as they are the least characteristcly developed members of k11 along with Tenten (hence she can have more going on for her due to losing someone important). For hinata, it is a simple view that she is with Naruto. But Neji is there, she did not exactly dreamt for Neji because he is simply never gone to begin with.

Secondly, Ino-Shika-Chou:

You must be registered for see images

Not saying much right, especialy Ino and Chouji seem kind of shallow here. But if you look at the backgrounds, all of their fathers are alive (ı know Choza is alive currently). Family is granted in a perfect world, it is not something that someone would wish to have. They did not got through the sadness of their fathers' death in a perfect life, their fathers are there with their usual attitude. They can have their silly little dreams. Same with Shikamaru seeing Asuma.

Third; Lee, Tenten and Mei:

You must be registered for see images

Lee and Tenten seem to have their shallow and silly dream, Lee beats the guys and get the girl and Tenten is glad that Lee and Gai gave up on their quirks. But, they both have Neji alive as they know of. Neji was Lee's rival figure and he had his battle (which i remind Lee wanted to happen), and he was the "normal" one of the team according to Tenten. He is there the way he had been, he is not seen as coming back to life because he never did die. You can't go through that misery in perfect world.

For Mei, this striked as a shallow dream...Why the kages in the background? Because the peace and unity that is getting strived for is already accomplished in a level that they can come to her wedding. She is a kage that ruled the village after and era called "bloody mist" afterall.

Lastly, Tsunade and Gaara:

You must be registered for see images
You must be registered for see images

Now these seem like the most "decent" ones out of dreams. These have one common thing which distinguish from other dreams: they both take place in past. As i said before for other dreams, they do not specially wish for what they are granted. Neither Tsunade and Gaara have been granted for the existence of their loved ones or even a family like the others do. They live the past they never did in dream world.

As summary, what i am saying is in a perfect world, someone would not wish forsomething that would drag you out of the measly situation s/he is in. Everything is already perfect and you have your own little dreams that you want.

Again Tsunade could've quit anytime she wanted, besides not once has there been any panels of her complaining about being Hokage so that point is mute. The dream itself is good/bad in the sense that Dan and Nowaki are alive but she should've remained as Hokage.

You really think they will?

Because I think we'll get 10-20 chapters of generic Sasuke/Naruto fighting and bickering, Obito (maybe Kabuto) returning, a lot of Kaguya flashbacks and BS and the Hokage doing stuff. I genuinely think that's all we're getting.

Let's hope against hope. U_U Kishi might develop these characters because the war was focused on a different thing entirely.

I agree. The new focus of the manga is Madara's demise/Kaguya's return. It would be random to return to the dreamworlds after the way the chapter ended.

Yes, I did and I liked that part.
I can see that actually happening.

Nor would have I, but you know, these days, readers are more fascinated with chapters of action and plot twists.
I can imagine people raging all over the place right now, if the chapter did actually only contain the Dream World part and nothing else... hence, even the editors wouldn't have let Kishi draw a chapter dedicated to every1's dreams... and that's sad.

My main problem whith these dreams is just how predictable, and cliché they were.

That's the sad mentality that made Shippuden a zappy laser light show.

I personally disagree. I really think there's something bigger here- the messiah system Naruto has been creating since the Zabuza arc is proof of that- it is a fight manga but one that isn't totally devoid of intelligence.

If they don't get more elaboration then personally I think it's down to Kishi genuinely not caring/not being bothered rather than not being allowed to. Kishi does quite a few unpopular things, he's the writer I guess.

There were no other possible candidates, its a commitment job.

Its her dream, Dan wanted to be Hokage and she supported him, that's why she gave him that necklace, just as she supports Naruto's dream.

Her perfect world is a world where her loved ones are alive and their all happy and their dreams come true.

Being Hokage wasn't her dream at all, the people she loved being happy and together was her dream.

I'm also in that 'not everyone' category, but sadly, we're and will always be the minority.

You say you disagree with me, while you are actually agreeing, as I also look at the manga that way - there being something bigger than a mere fighting.
I see your point and I also think and at least believe that we'll see more of their dreams and if not in the manga, then at least in the anime fillers, written by Kishi.

I know what you mean, it's a shame. :/

It indeed is...
