Sasuke will learn, I think he has to become hokage for the story to be complete the demons of the past to be layed to rest. He will see what madara is ( was, he's pretty much a goner ) and what kaguya is and see that in himself and see his vision of peace is no better than theirs. Everything you said was true and sasuke can never become Hokage because he doesn't even know how to be one. Itachi once said Sasuke is a blank canvas that can easily be painted over. Basically meaning that Sasuke is just a tool that anyone can manipulate, he's weak minded and has little mental stability. Yeah pretty much. But Tobirama was cold leader too, and he was still hokage. But he only came second to Hashirama, so Sasuke will have to wait for NAruto to die or hand over the title of Kage to him, otherwise Naruto is first choice because the people will vote for HIM.

True or not, what he said was totally uncalled and disrespectful. If the girl is not even allowed to ask a very legitimate question, then why did Sasuke protect her and kakashi in the first place? Sasuke must understand that normal people have feelings, his arrogance and selfish ways prevents him to realize that both Sakura and Kakashi would die for him. Sakura is in love with him and Kakashi intends to protect his teamates till the end because of what happened to Rin and Obito. Sasuke is so blinded by his past losses that it makes him unable to see what he still has and what he could lose. Sasuke is definitly not suited to be Hokage as he is right now, he needs to mature emotionnaly. He has a long way to go before this is possible.
Sasuke being Hokage would be like Danzo being Hokage, except with even worse decision making. At least Danzo does things for the sake of the Village. Sasuke's goals are more selfish and for his own sake only. o.o
He is definitely not Kage material... He is a genius but lacks what it takes to lead a nation and not only that, but he looks down at others and you can't create and keep friends/allies with that mindset and I do like Sasuke..

Sakura and Kakashi both might be able to come up with a plan or help plan something out. If Sasuke explained in detail they might notice something he did not.
Sasuke is simply mentally not fit to be a leader. Just look at how he's treated Hebi/Taka, they risk life and limb for him and he spits in their faces and leaves them to rot. Nevermind actually attempting to murder Karin, but for leaving Jugo and Suigetsu behind when, without their interference, Raikage Ay would have slaughtered him. Beyond this, his mental instability would be his own downfall. One has to be stalwart in their resolve and be able to make their OWN decisions as the head of a nation. Sasuke has not shown to be able to do either of these.
To put it bluntly, Sasuke is far too stupid to a Kage. Not in critical analysis of a jutsu or in academia, but in how to effectively lead. Someone in charge must inspire the loyalties of others, bring the best out of them, and create an earnest bond between him and his people. Without the people below you, you aren't shit. Literally.
A good leader values the perspectives and outlooks of others and can learn from all viewpoints. They may or may not be correct or ideal, but there is always something to be gained by listening. This is something Sasuke has not learned despite it being shoved in his face dozens of times. While Sakura and Kakashi are not on his level in terms of strength, they are far from useless. Kakashi has established a worldwide reputation of being a genius ninja beyond compare with years upon years of experience under his belt and tact that surpasses everyone's. Sakura also has some aptitude for it, as seen when she deduced Kamui, however Sasuke could not despite seeing it for himself earlier.
To put it frankly, Sasuke cannot amount to anything because of his methods. Not only does he have his fair share of stupid plans/actions (attacking Madara blindly, charging in a full summit and nearly dying 5 times, attempting to fight Itachi despite being way below his level, wasting Itachi's sacrifice for his own selfish desire, the list goes on), but his attitude won't get him ANYWHERE.
I could go on and on about how Sasuke's reasons for wanting to be a Kage will only perpetuate hate, his detrimental selfishness, and his Danzo-like actions. But, that simply isn't needed. Even if he WERE to become a Kage, his people would rebel. Revolt. Rise up and strike back. Or flat out leave. Would YOU like to be ruled by a Hitler-esque person? From his actions throughout the war, Sasuke is showing nothing but signs of becoming another Asoka. Even though I dislike Sasuke immensely, what I say rings true: Kiba would be a better Hokage than Sasuke.
I leave you with this quote: "A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way". And Sasuke is 0-3 in this criteria as he consistently chooses the wrong path and walks it alone. Thanks for reading and let me know on the poll what you think.

Great thought-provoking post. Looking at the very last panel you cited, wouldn't it be cool if the completely redeemed Obito were to become Hokage, as he actually wanted? Of course the chances of that are slim to none.
I am interested in how Kishi will wiggle out of this situation, since as you astutely noted, Sasuke has shown no premise of a Hokage. Even Itachi, arguably one of the most promising figures for Hokage ever, would facepalm. Will Kishi have Sasuke create a new Kage title, separate from Hokage? I think that could be possible. The question is who would this new Kage actually lead.
