Why didnt Madara use his limbi clones to get black zetsu off of him

Im calling this a stupid Madara moment unless there is an answer to it. Seriously Madara thats like the only thing you do anyway and thats a problem in itself. He seriously is just going to let Black Zetsu do this, when he usues limbo clones to attack anyone who gets nears him.

All so there can be a different finall villian who no one knows like anything about, why is Kaguya evil Im not sure that has ben explained in a convincing or logical way, therfoer I dont want to see her as opposed to Madara who is a much better character than her.
