This is pretty much why Sasuke can't be the final villain anymore. Kishi gave a chance for him.

If Sasuke does NOT change, it is all lost.

Sasuke NEEDS to change. Right now, he's just Indra, doing everything by himself and not caring about people.

He needs to get in an agreement with his comrandes, with Sakura and Kakashi. He needs to see that people may help, that people don't need to be as strong as he is to help.

That's why he can't be final villain anymore.

And we can't say you are right. Indra and Ashura fought because Rikudou decided to let Ashura handle the things.

This time, Rikudou split his power in two and left the responsability in both Naruto and Sasuke hands.

Well I'm pretty sure he knows that already. Sasuke knew he couldn't defeat Madara alone which is why he saved Naruto. He even told Naruto if he goes out there, it's all over. Sasuke knows he needs help at this point but he also knows that Sakura and Kakashi aren't much help.

If anything, Sasuke is playing it smart. Why have his old comrades try and fight when they won't be of much use right now? He's pretty much saving them the trouble and putting it on him and Naruto. But since he was the one who talked with the Sage and had the eye to counter Madara, he started calling the shots. Sure he came off as arrogant but it was necessary.

Doing everything alone? He has already accepted that he cannot do everything alone, he agreed to getting help from Naruto and if he only cared for himself then he wouldn't had saved Kakashi and Sakura. He does care for his teammates, and he does accept that they need to work as a team. He is only more logical than Naruto, Naruto plays on his feeling constantly. Sasuke plays on his feelings, but he is also highly logical. In other words, he didn't want to waste time arguing so he told Team 7 the simple truth, and they agreed with him. Because of that, they were able to move out and start their attack as soon as possible.
