The point is Black Zetsu, or rather Kaguya didn't want to fight and feared Minato would kill her almost instantly once she released herself from Obito so she took advantage of him so that Minato would not make quick work of her, he is the best at sealing things, she knows that and was probably afraid to be sealed/killed and her plans ruined.

Madara did the same thing, he opted not to fight Minato and took advantage of the situation with Kakashi and Rin when he was off on another mission.

To an extent, they both feared Minatos power.
