This is crazy I know...but here me out.
Naruto, back in the Pain arc, was shown to the fact that killing someone, isn't always the best option. This was shown in the same arc with Nagato being spared.
Now you might be like, "What do you mean? Of course Madara's gonna die." This isn't true. If anything, Sasuke is going to kill him, not Naruto. If not, Madara will be sealed in the gourd by Naruto and Sasuke, not TenTen.
Another point to add is this, in the Tales of a Gutsy Shinobi book by Jiraiya, it said that killing someone will cause their followers to attack as well. Madara has followers, Black and White Zetsu, and some possible allies we don't know about yet. If the alliance doesn't kill Black and White Zetsu, then they will attack and try to unseal Madara.
Long story short, if Naruto kills Madara, it will go against everything Minato, Jiraiya, and Nagato have taught Naruto. If Madara does get defeated, it will either be by Sasuke's hand, or the Gourd.
