Why do people care whether Naruto > Sasuke or Sasuke > Naruto

IMO, it doesnt matter if Naruto is stronger than Sasuke or Sasuke is stronger than Naruto

If u guys really want to make a comparison between Naruto and Sasuke, compare how their characters are written


Just cause ur strong doesnt make u a good written character



Honestly, Naruto could be a million times stronger than Sasuke, it does not make him a better written character


For the most part, Lord Sasuke is written beautifully compared to Naruto


Naruto is nothing more than a walking contradiction who makes annoying speeches that are hypocritical to what Kishi is portraying him to be

Naruto is the reincarnation of a god and is prophesied as the chosen one, yet Naruto states he worked hard and doesnt take shortcuts (really)


On the other hand, Sasuke is written better than Naruto. Yes, Sasuke is also the reincarnation of a god, but Kishi did not contradict his character. Sasuke's character has never been ruined. Kishi has always stayed consistent with Sasuke's character

PS: I'm not trying to bash Naruto's character. That is not my intention. This is just my opnion of Naruto's character. I'm just merely pointing out that comparing power levels is meaningless because being strong does not equal a good written character.

Naruto had to work hard to catch up and keep up with Sasuke. Sasuke was born gifted.
You mentioning the reincarnations further contradicted your own statement. Ashura had to work hard to match Indra's power. Sound familiar? It should cause I just told you.
If anything Kishin contradicted Sasuke's character. He says Indra worked alone and relied only on his power but Sasuke gathered a team and relied on the help of others. Something that is not of Indra

Naruto worked harder than most characters in NV.
He had to work to learn Shadow Clone Jutsu, Rasengan, Rasenshuriken, & to use the Bijū dama. As well mastering KCM, BM, and SM.
Don't say he took shortcuts when he worked the hardest of most. I don't recall Sasuke working hard or training to gain MS/EMS or using Susano'o.

You're misinterpreting what Naruto said. He didn't mean shortcut to powerups, he meant shortcuts to becoming Hokage and finding peace, which has nothing to do gaining power.

Obito wanted the easy way out and create an illusionary world, which was the easy way, instead of facing reality and find an answer there.
