I have an internet connection with 3 MBps speed. When its fixed limit is over, its speed falls down to 153 kbps. When its speed falls down, it works perfect at night (9.800 kbps) but in the daytime, its speed falls down sometimes. Can someone knows what causes this and how to solve this?

what the guy said up there if you have devices such as phones or tablets and all that the bandwith gets shared equally and at night people sleep so its not being used up

I have USB Modem. Are you trying to say wait until the night and there's nothing you can do to increase its speed?
They are generally quite slow since they're more made towards travelling purposes, also a lot of countries just have a terrible internet standard, such as Australia. If you want better/faster internet for your home look more towards Adsl2+ services

1. If you're using wifi, switch to Ethernet.

2. Make sure no one is sapping your internet up via wifi(Password protect it).

3. Buy better internet. 3Mbps is quite slow.

I get around 25 MBs. Max it has gone is around 50 MBs.

The problem is the place you are living and the ISP.You cant do anything about it.
Buy a broadband/wired connection, they have non capped unlimted plans.
or Switch for a 3G ISP like aircel after the fixed limit they give you unlimited @ 16kBps or BSNL who provide unlimited plan.

Brother I use aircel.... Its speed was quit good few months ago giving 3.5Mbps but now days they capped the speed to 1.4Mbps...... And about giving unlimited.... That speed sucks........ I heard that in 9rs Airtel gives unlimited 3g for 30min...... And the downloading speed is 1Mb+

Your Internet speed depends on
1.The medium..Wired or wireless.Ethernet/FiberOptic/2G/3G/4G/CDMA Good network=reliable connection=good speed
2.The hardware you have..if you are connected to UMTS network and you use a 14Mbps modem it is no use
3.The ISP or the money..it is often more money more speed..No matter how high end h/w you have they are the one who give service.
The ISPs dont have/buy the infrastructure to provide us services at high speed. They dont have undersea cables to power the internet they usually rent or lease others services and hence we get poor speed and unreliable connectivity not only that dataplans are stupidly priced.
It is a miserable situation..people laugh at our internet speeds.but we cant help it.This is not something thats gonno solve soon either :(
