I kind of figured the more wrinkles the better the byakugan:

Possibly means the more wrinkles the more strain. So if you're less practiced you will have more wrinkles if this is true. Might mean nothing and is just an animation choice.

Those aren't wrinjkes they are veins. I disagree the more veins means more strain since the body is working harder.

Either way the eye as a muscle can be trained...
