It would seem Edo Tensei summons are immune to the effects of IT. This is most likely the case as it is, but I tend to feel it's not that in and of itself that's IT-proof.
Both Guruguru (Spiral Zetsu) and Black Zetsubito are able to travel in the 'IT's light' without falling victim to its effects. By all means necessary they are indeed living, sapient and biological beings that should be vulnerable to the genjutsu (*all* living things were shown to be affected, for example stray cats), even if they are in cooperation with Madara.
I'm thinking that it's Zetsu- e.g. Hashirama's clone- that is immune to the effects of IT. Remember that the 5 Kage's ET were summoned via the sacrifices of White Zetsus. Besides their own souls and the earthen husks, they are more or less Zetsus.
Tobirama questioned why he wasn't affected by IT. Being a genius and the creator of ET, it seems he would know enough about his own jutsu to be able to quickly identify why it would or wouldn't shield him from the genjutsu.
It would also seem contradictory that Orochimaru fell victim to IT, being that he has taken a Zetsu as a host body. However, it's at least *mostly* Orochimaru on a biological level, as he assimilated himself physically into the Zetsu (likely dominating its' cells), rather than having his soul and chakra tethered to it (in the case of ET).
So, given that all genjutsu affect one's Yin chakra through physical receptors (sound, dojutsu exposure, sensation, visuals, etc.), I think there's something about Zetsu that is the key to immunity to IT, rather than it simply being Edo Tensei.
