well he already died for konoha and was gonna sacrifice himself to save Naruto (double kamui plan with Obito) so basically saving the SA

No one in Naruto is a Ninja. This is the same universe where ninjas go to war and their fighting style was running out in the open in organized file and rank.


The closest things resembling Shinobi would be Shino, Anbu, and maybe Danzo. Even them, they all have gone and fought in the open except Danzo who was himself attacked as opposed to attacking.


Stealth was a concept that has been completely abandoned in Naruto.

lel. Sasuke, his brother, who was in Akatsuki for possibly a few months helped Akatsuki more by retrieving that Hachibi's tentacle so that they could add that chakra to the Gedo Mazou.

Meanwhile, Itachi, who was in Akatsuki for 7 years, was assigned one jin, Naruto, and purposely failed to retrieve him when he could have at any time he wanted to. Kisame asked for help in capturing Roshi, but he refused and Kisame did it alone. Itachi helped them seal them, however, that was to keep his cover. He was never involved with the actual act of capturing them himself, just the sealing part, mainly because he had to.

ot: Itachi yes, he's pretty much the epitome of what a shinobi is in this manga.

Danzo is someone behind the scenes as well, but not quite a true shinobi, more just a tyrant who wants everything to be his way, regardless of how wrong it may be.
