Possibility of Izuna and Tobirama being equal back in the days.

1. As we already know it was stated that Izuna was equal to MS Madara.

3. Madara stated that Tobirama was equal to him. Why Madara statement referring to his MS state and not EMS state..

- EMS Madara not even once fought against Tobirama in 1 vs 1 match. Only fight Madara had with Tobirama after he got EMS was Madara against whole Senju clan

- So when Madara said we were equals back in our fight, he was referring to his MS state, otherwise it would just be contradiction since he already stated that Hashirama is the only one who can rival his strength

If Tobirama was equal to MS Madara it would also mean that he was equal to MS Izuna.

How did he defeated/kill Izuna? He surprise him with his attack when Izuna let his guard down in their last fight...

What trully happened:

There was a battle with a lot of Uchiha's and a lot of Senju's.

Uchiha started to lose the fight but didn't retreated. Madara and Izuna kept fighting. Izuna died.

That's pretty much this, lol.

I didn't feel sorry for Tobirama after Madara soloed him. He tried a Sneak Attack on Madara, got predicted, and we didn't even need to see a fight to know who would win that fight.
Serves him right for sneak attacking and killing Izuna, one of my favorite Uchiha.

That's why he got his ass beat by Kinkaku and Ginkaku while Darui soloed them both.
And Tobirama got soloed by 20 Fodder Ninja while Third Raikage lasted 3 Days against an Army.​

Izuna throught he got Tobirama. He deactived Susano'o, with swords in hands he is ready to finish Tobirama. He thought that Tobirama is out of chakra, he let his guard down at that moment, Tobirama see that and surprise him with hiraishingiri.
