Tobi claimed that he prompted Yahiko to create Akatsuki???

I've wondered about this for so long already.

To Konan, Tobi said 2 things:

1. That he gave Nagato the Rinnegan - which we found out was Madara

2. He spurred Yahiko into forming the Akatsuki - which we don't know what he was really saying

And this is the first time he met the trio, Yahiko, Nagato and Konan.

What do you think of Obito's claim? Was he saying the truth, that he was the one that influenced Yahiko?

Or was this another trick and plan of the real Madara?

Could it be that Yahiko creating the Akatsuki was the work of the real Madara too? We know that he had controlled some people already like the way he did to the Mist shinobis that kidnapped Rin.

i was also wondering about this after that konan parallel with obito recently. he may have been bullshitting or it wasnt shown. were they akatsuki at the time obito met them? in the filler yahiko came up with the name akastki after they met obito. i know its filler but...
its just like when madara said he ordered the mist nin to abduct rin. we dont know what he means and mistnin werent aware. maybe bs

Tobi presented them with ideals of world peace.. Nagato as a savior. Its obviously what Yahiko was also thinking with Nagato's rinnegan power as a way to create peace. Create an organization whose goals are creating peace is what he did. Not like Tobi had a secret meeting with Yahiko and they talked about Akatsuki or anything. It was metaphorical I guess. Kishi never showed a secret convo between those two anyway so. who really knows?

I watched that filler but yeah it's a filler so I don't really believe it.

Akatsuki is Yahiko's idea as he made the name and organize its members, but Obito - in the guise of Tobi and Madara Uchiha - he encourage Yahiko the idea of its goal.

They already had the Akatsuki fit on when Obito approached them, so I think The Original Akatsuki was Yahiko's Idea, but Obito influenced Nagato to make the Current Akatsuki after Yahiko died.​
