if talk about how you hate when a mangaka or anime team kill main character then i agree with you because there is a anime i love called Kakumeiki Valvrave which in the last of second season the main character die his name is haruto this anime was great but many unanswered question and the waste of this all there are no sight of season 3

Billy Bat and 20th Century Boys spoilers... (well I guess it's not much of a secret then anyways)

The main character of 20th Century Boys "dies" off panel through like 20% of the series and isn't revealed to be alive until the last arc of the story

In Billy Bat (which is ongoing), the main character already died and has shifted to a new main character. This is how quick it happened:

At least those died at the end of the series as the finale xD not gonna hate though since the 2 series I mentioned are some of my favorites and the way the MCs die is an interesting approach.

I've seen a lot of popular media, not just anime, so nothing has surprised me in quite a while. If any character (not just the main char) dies or seems to die in a series, I often look at what the meaning of their death was to better understand it. J-man's death was to ensure to the safety of his village, to ensure peace and fulfill Naruto's prophecy. Eren's "death" in AoT was both a way for AoT to differentiate itself from other anime, and to show best illustrate the chaos at the moment with the battle of Trost. Deaths of important characters are often meant to teach a lesson and/or moral or to illustrate a situation.

Oh and, I'm pretty sure Lelouch is dead.

I think Death Note is probably the best example of a main character's death being done extremely poorly.

Kira should have won.

Kira is light (no pun intended)
Kira is order
Kira is stasis
Kira is justice

I'm quite happy with lelouch being alive. I actually hate it when an anime kills someone off after making you care for them. Curse you guren languen.

I don't want my lead character to die.I would feel bad about it.But if the plot is justified, then I am fine with it.

It depends on the story, i really liked that the main character of
school days
died. He was a douche bag.
