what makes you say that? last time i checked Pokemon is still alive because of how awesome it is and because it keeps getting better and better, by the way i'm talking about the Games not the Anime although the i will say that the Pokemon Origins Anime is amazing.

However sometimes this means they are focusing more on fluid, fast paced animation. For example that's what episode 322 (Madara's episode), and a few other famous episodes. I hope they are doing the same thing for this episode, but this animation director is new so it is hard to say.

Yes, Tatsuya Koyanagi never served as animation director for any episodes, However he does have a good amount of experience working on Shippuden, he has worked on dozens of episodes as a "

You know it's not so strange that they specifically chose an animator with minimalist artwork considering that in the next chapter the Juubi will look humongous compare to everything else and on top of that the episode will most likely end with the arrival of the whole Alliance in which there are A LOT people to draw.
