Obito's voice!

It sounds terrible. He should have kept the same voice as when he was acting as Madara. Not at all what I picture from Obito, sort of ruins his character in the anime.

well true. But since he had to grow up with that injury...and then puberty hit, his voice probably became the way it did.

I like his voice. It's fitting for someone who had half of their throat crushed, the gravely tone fits his grave demeanor. It doesn't have that villainous tone because Obito isn't a villain, he's actually more of a tragic anti-hero.

I agree, his young life was so unrealistically painful that when I heard about it, I was shocked to find that there was a villain/anti-hero I really felt bad for! I don't even want to see him punished , I think he's had punishment enough and should get a chance at a normal life, and when his life was fairly normal (despite having no parents and living in the Uchiha police station/prison of Tobirama's era) he still chose to help the elderly.
Naruto and everyone had someone that helped them in time, whereas Obito just had Madara and manipulation.

I liked that Tobi voice in English though, it's really funny and it's hillarious on the Ninja Storm Full Burst 3 game. He has so many daft quotes mid battle like "Awesome, right?" "It's all set!"- with a big thumbs up and "I know you just wanna bully me, man what a jerk!"

The Tobi voice doesn't suit the Obito face though, but I'd love to see the randomness of him talking like that in the midst of the seriousness of the 10tails battle. XD

it sounds strange cuz we are not used to it, while reading the manga u might have imagined him say all that stuff with a different voice, but i think it sounds alright and you'll get used to it.
Madara's voice doesn't match his face either...the voice is for a rather old person(suited masked Tobi perfectly) but non of them are old especially giving obito that voice wouldn't have seemed right.
i'll have to hear a bunch more dialogues from Obito before i can really make a judgement.

now when i read manga i use his anime voice now. i like it but its a little raspy. it does sound creepy so i dunno what ppl mean when they say its not villiany enough.

Blonde haired Ninja Uzumaki Naruto leaned against a door knocking softly again and again while calling out to his girlfriend.
“Hi-na-ta chan, can’t I come in yet?” He asked.
Blue haired Hyuga heiress Hinata Hyuga with her forever soft spoken voice replied from the other side of the door: “Not yet Naruto-kun, I'm not done!” while giggling at the way Naruto had called her.
The Hyuga heiress barely stuttered causing a small smile to form on Naruto’s face as he thought to himself “She’s really getting comfortable with me now isn’t she?”
“What was that smile for Naruto-kun?” Hinata asked disrupting Naruto from his thoughts.
“No fair! That’s cheating Hinata” Naruto replied causing Hinata to giggle. “I couldn’t help it. I just have to keep my eyes on you Naruto-kun” Hinata responded still giggling as she deactivated her byakugan.
"But Hinataaaaa, It's our dating anniversary; and i just want to see a little" Naruto whined.
Hinata blushed then replied "No, I want everything to be perfect."
Desperate to enter, Naruto decided to call on a technique his father thought him at the end of the just concluded war. After everything he had seen her go through from the fight with pain and during the war, Naruto had become protective of Hinata.
Though he had absolute faith in her abilities, he had at one time pleaded with Hinata to wear a necklace that had the hiraishin markings on it so that he could come to her aide at whatever time she needed it. Hinata accepted the necklace and never took it off.
Using the hiraishin jutsu, Naruto summoned himself to the necklace and smirked into her shoulder as she shrieked in surprise. “Naruto-kun, that’s cheating!”
Naruto pulled away from her neck and grinned cheekily. "I couldn't help it, I just had to see” He said as he looked around and smiled. "Everything looks perfect. And you look amazing" He hugged her close again, lips moving along her neck. "I just want a quick taste," he whispered.
Hinata blushed heavily. Naruto didn't know it, but he had gotten really good at teasing her.
“Wow, so soft and warm” Naruto suddenly yelled happily causing Hinata to let out a small "eep" before turning around to lightly tap his drifting hand.
“N-no Naruto-kun, n-not yet!” she stuttered, a light blush still visible on her cheeks.
“How can I keep my hands off when this is all you Hinata?" Naruto pouted.
“Just wait a little more” Hinata said as she turned around to finish up.
Naruto saw this as his chance and lunged forward. He then took hold of the nearest piece of flesh he could grab and placed it in his mouth.
"Mmmmm" he hummed with satisfaction.
Hinata not really surprised turned around. Although she did wish he could have waited. She put her hands on her hips and tried her best to look mad but failed miserably at it as she couldn’t help but laugh a little.
"Na-Naruto-kun!" She semi yelled. "I had almost finished setting up the table! Couldn't you wait two more minutes" she smiled.
"Ah chorry Hinutuh-chun" Naruto responded. His mouth filled with the pork he had just snatched from the table.

I hated before, first time I heard it I faced palmed.

But now I'm used to it and I think it really suits him. And because the anime is doing Obito so much justice, the voice just seems to gel with the emotion and attitude.

It's weird, when reading through all the Obito reveal and his rage and stuff in the manga, I felt no pity towards him and thought he was an awful character. But the anime just makes me wanna see more of him, they've really represented him well.
