Why is Kishi making Sasuke more important than Naruto?

Too bad none of these can stop infinite tsukoyomi or fight Madara's main body. Unless Naruto learns to fly/resist infinite tsukoyomi/create spirit bomb sized rasenshuriken, he can't do anything against Madara, nor the genjutsu.

If anyone knows how writing works, then it's odd that OP is somewhat dead - on. The only point he hasn't highlighted is that Naruto's entire character development - or lack there of - is completely governed by Sasuke's actions. Sasuke is actually the actual core of the manga, not Naruto. Which is pretty funny, when Kishimoto has passed off Naruto as the main protagonist.

It would have been better had he changed genres and made this manga a Senin with Sasuke as the lead character. That would have made much more sense from a literary perspective.

Naruto was the most important/leader during the entire Obito struggle since he was his foil. Sasuke is the most important/leader in the Madara struggle since he is his foil.

Sasuke could not do anything without Naruto and the others. If it wasn't for the bijuudamas that Naruto made to destroy all the meteors, Sasuke would also be a goner. And If you're going to argue that Meteors are nothing because Susanoo has great defense, go back to the chapters where Tsunade and A broke Madara's Susanoo by sheer strength.

I didn't say they could fight off IT themselves, so Sasuke's Susanoo is a necessity, but Sasuke obviously can't beat Madara by himself.
