I was recently reading a post concerning the relations of Kushina and Mito and thought to myself "whoa maybe Naruto is an actually relative of the First", even though we all assume that anyway evidence is always reassuring. Anyway here is a simple theory of mine.

Naruto may be related to the 1st hokage through Mito Uzumaki, I feel like Naruto's grandmother the jinchuriki was maybe daughter or some close relative of Mito, wife of the 1st, making Naruto directly related to the 1st hokage. Maybe this will be revealed later. Never know with Kishi. After all he mastered "Senju"tsu in such short time, and Jaraiya, a legendary Sannin Shinbo did not even master before he died, and he was old. I can also say the same with Madara and Sasuke and how they could be related but that's not the topic at hand.

Your theory doesn't even make him related to the first wtf are you talking about?

I doubt it unless you count by marriage. Isn't kushina full uzumaki? If he is related by blood it would be under 15%

It's simple the !st Hokage's wife was the first known Jinchiriki of the nine tails, and I believe it was stated they pass it down through the family (Uzamaki). So if Kushina was a jinchuriki, that must mean she was related to Mino, meaning she was also related to Mito's Husband, The First Hokage himself. Making Naruto, the daughter of Kushina, related as well. I'm sorry if yiu don't get it...

So what was Mito unfaithful to the 1st? lol. Naruto has strong Uzamaki blood running through him, and he isn't full Uzamaki.

I don't expect to always be right, but it's fun to imagine. It's a manga. It's for amusement and tinkering with my mind.

this only makes them related through marriage not blood.

Well Naruto is related to Hashirama regardless because their clans are distant blood relatives. But in terms of a more direct family heirarchy, if his grandmother was Mito's daughter, then yes Naruto is related strongly to Hashirama since he is the father of Mito's child. But any other form of relation that doesn't involve One of Naruto's grandparents being a child of Mito but another family member would only result in Naruto tracing his distinct family tree back to Mito only by blood. Hashirama in that instance would be related to him by marriage, which wouldn't make them real relatives, only legal ones, much like in real life.

The tricky part here is that incest comes into play and makes relations in Naruto a bit strange

The best theory to go with is the sages brother started the Hyuga, and Uzumaki clan(because he had advanced sealing techs since he sealed the Juubi in the sage, and the Hyuga obviously didn't come from the sage), and the sage started the Senju and Uchiha clan. This would make them very, very, very distant blood relatives. Nit even worth mentioning though.

naruto fabboy in action

I have a white sharingan as my pic and a naru fan boy... ok. llol i'm pretty sure you're just a sasuke fan boy hatin, and I like sasuke better because he's more tactical, faster, and just cooler. but you're giving sasuke fan boys a bad name. glad I'm just a fan of the manga itself and not one particular character.

unless Hashirama and Mito made offspring and Naruto was a later product of it, then blood is related.
