[Theory] Sasuke might not be immune to I.T.

Current chapter showed Sasuke's Susano'o shielding Team 7 from the I.T.
SO people believed Sasuke is immune to I.T.
Black Zetsu also thought Sasuke is immune to I.T. but it was still a question for him as well.

But sasuke himself confirmed (I guess) that he is also safe inside Susano'o.

I think Sasuke saw I.T. coming when he noticed the Moon while flying high. But he was able to fight off the jutsu because of his Susano'o as well as his rinnegan.
If he closes his left eye, he might fell for the I.T. as well.

In the end, I think he quickly realized that he's safe inside the Susano'o and hence leaped towards Team 7 to shield them.

If not then there's no point in having the eye....that would also make Madara seem dumb and trapped in his own genjutsu giving Sasuke and Naruto the advantage to kill him lmao.

Yup, he's 100% immune, he never stated that he would be caught, he said "even you would be caught in his genjutsu." Maybe stating that the bijuu's are not going to help him break free.

Also why wasn't sasuke caught in it while he was in the air looking directly at it?

He had closed his eye after Madara went to kamui dimension. That means his chakra drains a lot for using the eye.
Also Black Zetsu questioned Sasuke being immune because of his left eye. Means his right eye isn't immune.

Edit: His eye was closed before because he was preparing for when Madara came back. He's using his eye now cause he knows it's necessary for survival so it won't be shutting until the threat is gone. So Sasuke is immune, I'm almost positive the Sage wanted Sasuke to be immune so that he could save Sasuke since Naruto said Naruto and Sasuke can get along.

Why not? We've seen Sasuke close this eye before when Madara went into the Kamui dimension to retrieve his other eye. We still don't know much about Sasuke's Rinnegan. I think it makes sense that it's Sasuke's Susanoo that keeps them from being affected by IT. His Rinnegan may make him resistant to IT but he may not be entirely immune to IT's effects.

And not to mention....Sasuke was already inside Susanoo when IT was activated. This could mean that Susanoo shielded him from it and not that he is immune.

Well Team 7 probably wasn't affected because of that devastating attack Naruto did on those Chibaku Tensei. The sky above them was clouded in a giant explosion. Sasuke flew directly through it and shielded them. He probably did that because he realized as soon as the smoke cleared the light of the moon would reach them and they would be caught in IT. Just my theory on that anyway.

Well this is true. I mean he's in the middle of a battle so closing his eye at that time would be counter productive XD But I do think Sasuke is, at the very least, highly resistant to IT if not downright immune.
