prime Itachi vs Danzo who is stronger?

Did everybody foget that Itachi, in his prime, had Shisui's other eye? KA would be completely ineffective. And Danzo can go ahead and use Izanagi all he wants. Itachi simply catches him in Tsukuyomi and keeps him there until Danzo's Izanagi runs out. Or better yet Izanami. Or better yet, Susanoo... The list goes on and on for how Itachi neg difs Danzo.. That's why Danzo was scared shit-less of Itachi.

Only because Danzo ran out of sharingan to cast izanagi with. Itachi begins all of his fights with genjutsu. He did so against Orochimaru, Kakashi, Naruto, Deidara, and Sasuke. It's his default move. With a technique like Izanagi Danzo can turn his body in to genjutsu for a full 60 seconds and still counterattack. If Itachi doesn't know Danzo has those sharingan or that he intends to use them for; he could be caught off guard and injured without casting Susanno to protect himself like Sasuke did.

Yeah you're right Itachi would have to take him out with Totsuka sword right away. Unless Danzo uses KA right away then Itachi is pretty screwed.

Danzo didn't have his best tech sasuke had some help from Karin and then obito at end not to mention Danzo clearly stated he was saving chakra to fight obito (although Idk how he was gonna do tht ... .-.)

But I agree itachi would beat danzo

karin didnt do anything except heal him later but the fight was already by then, danzo was already fatally hit so he couldnt have done anything. sasuke figured out izanagi before she did. obito only told him to move away but sasuke is not an idiot, he can clearly see something was up so he will have moved away non the less. danzo ended up using all his chakra in the end so thats pointless. ms sasuke >= danzo without ka.

Izanami is a hard counter to Izanagi.
Danzo was already shown to be susceptible to Sasuke's genjutsu.

I feel like this will be a mostly genjutsu battle, and in which respect Itachi is far superior.

1. Danzo KA's Itachi. Itachi's crow KA's Itachi to make him normal again.
2. Danzo can't use it for another couple hours and Itachi can't use it in 10 years. So Itachi has 120 minutes to kill him before Danzo regains use of it. Danzo only has 10 minutes of immortality. A time frame that is easily large enough for Itachi.
