Danzo didn't have his best tech sasuke had some help from Karin and then obito at end not to mention Danzo clearly stated he was saving chakra to fight obito (although Idk how he was gonna do tht ... .-.)

But I agree itachi would beat danzo

At one point i remember Danzo said he should start taking it seriously and started using izanagi etc.
I'm pretty sure he'd rather fight for his life than only use a portion of his power and die.

Itachi has crap stamina. The Danzo v Sasuke fight lasted 10 minutes at least if we use the 1 minute per Izanagi rule. I doubt Itachi could go the distance with Danzo. He'd have to use Susanno straight away like Sasuke and land a totsuka strike to win.

Izanami he used as an edo. A zombie Itachi doesn't care whether he's blind in one eye. An alive Itachi is not going to piss one of his eyes away on izanami when he can win without it.
