It was kind of like what Kurama said to Minato & Kakashi when Obito lost the juubi. (IMO)

The tentacle left by the 8 tails may have had a big enough life force (Chakara) to keep him alive. Even though it's different from the Juubi jin.

That's what I thought. Like it's a nice trick but I didn't think it would trump having gyuki ripped out. But I'm not complaining I love B and I'm happy to see him alive but I was really confused.

He cut a piece of himself off and attached it to Bee. It's no different from Obito using the tentacle and the gold and silver brothers eating kurama's flesh.

The only thing I can think of is 8 Tail left a very small portion of Himself in Bee to keep Him alive if He got extracted and thats why Bee was Hiding in the tentacle by being separate from 8 Tail Bee keep enough of 8 tail Chakra to keep Him alive.

Hachibi should have infused enough chakra to make it count like he is still a half bijuu ( with the chakra levels not legit jinchurikii) . I mean Naruto already had only half of Kurama and when it was extracted Obito made up for the loss with the other half of Kurama and other bijuu chakra. Maybe Hachibi made something like that giving chakra to Killer Bee but probably the only explanation is that 8tails gave out enough chakra to the tentacle to save Killer Bee.

Because plot, this whole being able to split tentacle thing is bullshit. Why didn't Kurama do the same thing for Naruto then? Bee should've died already
