can Naruto even use any Uzumaki skill?

I dont think ive seen Naruto use the chain chakra manifestation skill of the Uzumaki.

Can he use it? What would that even do aside from restraining someone?

We can see that it is similar to the senju clans wood release but they can also do much more like summon the 1000 palm god statue and the wooden dragon etc.

I'm not so sure about that. Remember the fight with Kurama during his Beast Mode training? I originally thought the chakra chains that came out of his body were Kushina's but then after Karin did it, it looked exactly the same, so I started to think maybe Naruto unwittingly released them or Kushina guided him with her own chakra helping him to release it.

Maybe he can but is saving it for later?

Just imagine a rasenshuriken with chain that he can just throw and tug around.
