Ppl love to talk about how Sasuke doesn't care about anyone in these forum. How he's a selfish douche bag. How he only cares about Naruto and that's only bc he needs him to beat Madara, etc.
Well, I say those ppl never truly understood Sasuke (when he's SANE like he is now and was in part 1 and pre-taka.)
Sasuke shows his love/care through ACTION. He'll probably never TELL you he loves you, but he'll sure as hell take a bullet for you. We saw this in the Haku and Gaara fights, the Killer Bee fight. Last week ppl said he didn't give a shit about team 7 based on Sakura's comment. Well in this chapter we clearly see him saving all of team 7 even though he clearly thinks only he and Naruto can stop Madara.
I think the guy has changed. I believe when he finally reveals his intentions, Sasuke will say he only wanted to become Hokage to change the system but that was before seeing how Naruto has grown and speaking with the Sage. {EDIT: [add] and realizing that he was wrong in his belief that he was the ONLY one who could create change.}
Based on his facial expression and pause, I think he's still mulling over what his exact goals are, but whatever they are is what will be right for the shinobi world and the path to peace:
There won't be any fight between those two in the end. The giant sage toad's prophesy was about Madara and/or Obito, not Sasuke. People got over Goku and Vegeta not fighting and they'll get over Naruto and Sasuke not fighting too.
Sasuke cares now and will likely cooperate with Naruto after this war to finally break the cycle of hatred.
