Let me get to the point, Sakura doesn't need Taunade Lineage to surpass her in power.

Does Tsunade have larger reserves? Yes but Sakura's reserves were said to be horrible.

Tsunade also was pure raw strength but Sakura's CES by Tsunade's grandfathers own words might be stronger.

Now Tsunade's life force on the other hand is something that Sakura could use but that still isn't enough to hinder Sakura from surpassing Tsunade.

Sakura at the age of 16 can use every technique that Tsunade can and she's done each jutsu perfectly the first time she's tried it. Also remember Tsunade said she was the only one who knew the Strength Of One Hundred Healings Technique, which means either Sakura taught herself or Tsunade showed Sakura the jutsu but didn't expect her to catch on.
So yes in terms of ability she's advancing beyond Tsunade.

This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.

Um what? Who is speaking about lineage? Sakura is not as strong as tsunade. Can she be yes, but she is too young and inexperienced, tsunade has but more real exp in her field. Its not about chakra reserves but up chakra control and thats what sakura has her chakra control is on par with narutos and tsunades.

I think the discordance rests in that the best Sakura can be is Tsunade 2.0, but she'll never have Tsunade's reserves or Senju endurance and stamina. All the chakra control in the world won't make up for those superior passives.

Like I said before Tsunade has years under her belt not only does she have more experience and intelligence than Sakura but she has more than Naruto, Saskue & a shit load of other ninjas so that's my argument I'm saying that Sakura is surpassing Tsunade without any of the advantages that a Senju has.

And by your logic since Tsunade's has strong clan ties that makes her stronger than those who don't.

I don't have to,anyone with sense knows Tsunade can heal more people than Sakura and even accomplished the impossible by healing Rock Lee's arm and leg,curing Sasuke and Kakashi from their Tsukiyomi induced comas,and can use her monstrous strength with out chakra unlike her student.Sakura is a carbon copy of Tsunade which is quite a shame.

You don't know if Sakura could heal injures similar injuries like lees of Kakashis or not but based on the manga it's highly possible that she could preform those surgeries. Also, Sakura isn't a carbon copy of Tsunade, Sakura is three times young than Tsunade & can preform jutsus effortlessly!
