So guys, i want to ask a question about this currently OP character

Is there any possibility that he could have been good? I know there were a lot of breaking points for him, but is there something that happened that if did not happen or something that could have happened that would have prevented his decent? Ideas and thoughts are welcomed.

Technically Madara is good.

He has his ideals, he wants to bring happiness to everyone, but simply, the way he has done it is in an incorrect manner.
Madara reaches for justice, but must use evil to reach it.

Why? Because he knows that this is the only realistic way to actually achieve ''happiness'' and ''peace''.

Maybe if Izuna had supported the alliance with the Senju before he died, Madara might have not descended into darkness. Izuna's skepticism (before his death) at Hashirama's cease fire agreement caused Madara to distrust the Senju even more.

I thought about that, but was Izuna really his sanity hold? Remember when he turned against Hashi when they were kids, they weren't that close, but they had some kind of connection, but it wasn't really an emotional break-up

He did want a place, where people could live together in harmony, but he knew that he needed to resort to force and power to achieve such goals.
Even though he did succeed in creating such a place, he was distrusted by everyone around him, except Hashirama, even having his brother tell him that he shouldn't trust them.

In the end, what caused his demise is the fact that he was weaker than Hashirama, and he felt that Hashirama was pitying him, that's why he strayed off of the good path.

But still, regardless of this, he was born in a time of peril, he was bound to have evil acts inflicted upon him and that he himself would inflict damage upon another.

But after Hagoromo's conversation with Naruto, I began to see Madara as someone using that as a façade to disguise his lust for power and control.

To be honest, in my opinion it doesn't matter that much as long as everyone is in a dream.
If everyone was in the dream, then it would be absolutely pointless for Madara to have all of their power anyway.
