When Hagoromo was explaining the origins of Ninshuu and ninjutsu, he said that when he and his brother fought the Ten-Tails, they sealed the Beast within THEMSELVES. Not himself, but both of them. Which obviously brings up a very interesting question - with all this commotion going on during the Fourth Shinobi World War, are they really fighting HALF of the Ten-Tails, or did Hagoromo's brother give him the other half before he died? We don't have enough information on the brother, but it's safe to assume that his bloodline died with him, or else the Shinobi world would definitely know about it! Comment what you think! :)

Viz said "Juubi was sealed in himself"
Kishi cannot afford another 700 chapters. His bags are already full with enough money.

This is an interesting thread with a lot of bullshits, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.

Twas a mistranslation. Viz translation states only Hagoromo had the Juubi.

Nope that was just a translation error. In the official VIZ translation, Hagoromo said he just sealed it within himself:

Nope, Viz says "within me" Hagoromo's brother didn't get the juubi.

Keep that up and you will be banned in no time.

OT: The Juubi was divided into two parts according to the Viz.

That makes much more sense. That still doesn't solve the issue of where the hell that other brother went. I feel like that's the start of a whole new arc (or a few).

I think that he eventually died and ashura became a jin to atleast one of the beast when they show pictures in the manga of him fighting indra I think that was his tailed beast mode the beast that looked like kurama with more heads and arms that's not his chakra and his blood line in the uzumaki's and hyuga's
