gai gates vs lee gates

I was wondering if lee can open the 8th gate , and if he can is it strong as gai gate or is it weaker .We saw what gai did to madara so can lee do the same finally this is my first thread so if mistaking about anything feel free to tell me.

Rock lee can only go 6 gates at the moment.. i do believe though in basic taijutsu he is close to gai since it is something they both specialise in however gai has much more experience which gives him the edge..

the power increases 100 fold, so if A is 50, in the 8th gate his power would be 500 and if B is 30 then his power will be 300 with the 8th gate opened.

so it really depends on how much Lee would achieve in base, and would he surpass his master in base strength without using the gates or not, but logic in Narutoverse suggests that the newer generation is stronger than the older generation, so there is a high probability that Lee would surpass Gai, and will be able to use other techniques(more powerful than Night Gai), but its the manga so it could go both ways.

Lee can only goto 6th gate open but give him time in his life and training he might be able to open the 8th gate. But only way Lee will top Gais 8th gate is if Lee combines alcohol with the 8th gate just think about the power he had when he got drunk from the bottle he thought was medicine during the kimimaro fight. just my opinion but thinking about drunk Lee with 8gates activated i think he would outshine Gai and he would definently confuse Madara with his weird movements and speed.


P.S just a thought since Gai was shown to be in such pain when gates were activated maybe if Lee could activate 8th gate and was drunk like he was during the kimimaro fight. Maybe the alcohol would counteract the pain and make him even more of a badass.
